4 STEP 1 – CHECKING OF DISPATCH DOCKETS
DGL Office Staff receive the Intervet Picking list and process the order in the LMS system, Office Staff to attach an invoice envelope with a copy of the Intervet Docket. DGL Storeman to check the DGL docket against Intervet paperwork checking that the following information match Product Name Product Code Batch Code Expiry Date Quantity Location 3. In the circumstance this does not match the paperwork to be returned to the office staff immediately and the problem rectified. DGL Paperwork Intervet Paperwork

5 STEP 2 – CHECKING PRODUCT LABELLING
DGL Storeman (Picker) to locate stock as specified. DGL Storeman (Picker) to check the label against the DGL docket & Intervet paperwork checking that the following information match Product Name Batch Code Expiry Date Once all information is confirmed the Storeman (Picker) is to pick the quantity of stock required. If for some reason the quantities do not match inform Office Staff immediately whom will need to investigate the reason for this been so. BATCH EXPIRY DATE PRODUCT NAME

6 STEP 3 – Packing of Goods A second DGL Storeman (Checker) is to check that the DGL Storeman (Picker) has picked the correct product by checking the DGL docket against Intervet paperwork checking that the following information matches Product Name Batch Code Expiry Date Quantity 2. DGL Storeman (Checker) to pack the required quantity into an esky 3. Under no circumstance are the Intervet products to travel without appropriate packaging. Polystrene Esky

7 STEP 4 – Packing of Goods DGL Storeman (Checker) to cover the internal contents of the esky with bubble wrap note: this keeps the condensation from coming in contact with the product 2. Under no circumstance are the Intervet products to travel without appropriate packaging. Bubble Wrap

8 STEP 5 – Packing of Goods DGL Storeman (Checker) to put 2 ice packs inside sealed bags note: this also reduces the risk of condensation coming into contact with the product 2. Place the ice packs on top of the bubble wrap inside the esky 3. Under no circumstance are the Intervet products to travel without appropriate packaging. Ice Packs

9 STEP 6 – Packing of Goods DGL Storeman (Checker) place the esky’s lid on and tape it shut note: Place the tape in a “T” shape across the top of the box and allow it to go down the sides making it secure. 2. Under no circumstance are the Intervet products to travel without appropriate packaging. Tape

10 STEP 7 – Packing of Goods DGL Storeman (Checker) to place the sealed esky into an Intervet Carton and tape closed note: Place the tape across the seam once the flaps of the box have been closed – place the 2 smaller flaps in first and the 2 larger flaps second 2. Under no circumstance are the Intervet products to travel without appropriate packaging. Smaller Flaps Larger Flaps

11 “Refridgerate on Arrival” Sticker
STEP 8 – Labelling of Packed Goods DGL Storeman (Checker) to place the following on the outside of the sealed carton Address Label “Refridgerate on Arrival” Sticker Hand write the Intervet Reference number Copy of the Intervets paperwork enclosed in an invoice envelope and stuck to the carton (attached to the back of paperwork) In circumstances when there is more then 1 carton for the consignment it is to be written on each of the carton as 1 of 4 or 2 of 4 and so on. 2. 12 STEP 9A – Completing Paperwork
DGL Storemen (Picker &Checker) to complete DGL’s Picking Docket making sure that the following are completed Confirmation of Batch-Per product line Confirmation of Quantity-Per product line Confirmation of the Total Name of the 1st Check - Picker Name of the 2nd Check - Checker 2. Under no circumstance are the Intervet products to leave the store without the paperwork been completed Batch Confirmation Quantity Confrimation Total Confirmation Name of 1st Check - Picker Name of 2nd Check - Checker

13 STEP 9B – Completing Paperwork
DGL Storemen (Picker & Checker) to complete Intervets Picking List making sure that the following are completed Actual Column - Per product line Couriers Con Note Number No. of Packages Weight Picked By Checked by 2. 14 STEP 10 – Despatching Goods on Transport
DGL Storeman to load the vehicle with goods and obtain the following information from the driver on the DGL Outwards Docket Signature Printed Name Date Rego Number Storeman is required to obtain a copy of the con note signed by the driver All paperwork is to be handed to the Office Staff whom will scan and POD and file away. 4.
