5 Lunch 10:40-11:20 *Students may bring their lunch or purchase a tray in the cafeteria- $2.25 *Pre K Students will not be allowed to make a lunch choice per state guidelines.

6 Fruit/Snack Break Employee Preschool students will bring two snacks
each day. Steps+ students will bring one snack each day. Morning snack needs to be a healthy snack. We use this as a teaching opportunity to focus on healthy/nonhealthy choices.

7 Morning Arrival Employee Preschool students can be dropped off starting at 6:45. We are not allowed to open the door before 6:45. Park in the front lot and walk to side door. Knock Loudly! You will sign your child in. They may eat breakfast if needed. If you are later than 7:30 drop them off in the front. A teacher will bring them to the room. School starts at 8:00.

8 Dismissal Procedures Steps+ students will be dismissed at 12:00 at the front door. Employee Preschool Program will be dismissed in the classroom. You must sign your child out. Students must be picked up by 5:00. There is a 10 dollar a minute fee for every minute after 5:00. If you need to pick up your student before 3:30 you will check them out at the front office.

9 Change in Dismissal To change the way your child is dismissed, you must send a written notice to the teacher. s need to be sent by noon and if you don’t receive a reply by 3:00pm please contact the front office. Make sure whoever is picking your child up is on the pick up list! And they bring their driver’s license.

10 Absences/Tardy To report an absence, call the absent line at Also an can be sent to the teacher.

11 Communication Each week you will receive a newsletter about the happenings in our class. The Eagles Eye will go out the last Monday of each month. This will be ed. It will also be posted on the website. A daily binder will go home with students. The binder will include a pencil bag. This will be where you will put lunch money, picture money, field trip permission slips, etc.

13 Ready Rosie Research has shown that students with a higher vocabulary are more successful when learning to read. Our district purchased Ready Rosie This resource provided meaningful activities that support language development. Once signed up you will receive engaging activities you can do with your child.

14 Dress Code Not allowed Short shorts, spaghetti straps, midriff shirts, or flip flops Make-up Dress up outfits or accessories (princess dresses, crowns) To play on playground equipment students must have tennis shoes or shoes with a back

15 Early Release Dates All Students will follow a normal schedule.
With the exception of the day before Winter Break and the last day of school employee childcare will close early. *Please note that if you are picking up at 12:00 there will be a lot of traffic.*

17 Classroom Management Plan
Each student has a Star Chart where they can earn stars for extraordinary behavior. When they have earned 10 stars the get to choose a free center. Every day your child will start on blue. Two warnings move to green. Two more warnings move to yellow. When child moves to red they will go to stop station. Hitting or biting will be automatic stop station.
