4 line up procedures Students will enter through the 100 Hallway (PREK HALLWAY) Monitors will be at the door to escort your child. Your child will line up in front of their classroom. Parents are NOT ALLOWED in the hallway for safety/security reasons. Your child’s teacher will greet your child and they will go into their classrooms. (7:45AM)

5 pick up procedures Your child will exit through the Main Lobby to the FRONT of the School. Each teacher has a designated PICK UP line with her name on it. EVERYONE who is authorized to PICK UP your child must have an ID and be on the PICK UP List. DAYCARE Students will be picked up in the Front of the School. (Please INFORM your DAYCARE Provider) BUS Students exit through the 100 Hallway.

6 Breakfast and Lunch PREK AM will eat BREAKFAST in the Classroom :45 AM PREK FULL DAY will eat: BREAKFAST in the Classroom 7:45 AM LUNCH in the Cafeteria 11:00-11:30AM Food Allergies: Please submit information from Dr. to Nurse and/or teacher.

7 Attendance Office Absences
Written Notice (including the reason for the child’s absence, teacher’s name, and the dates) Doctors Note Excessive Absences

8 Perfect means perfect No TARDIES NO ABSENCES
NO EARLY PULL OUT-(Before 10:35AM/2:20PM) Students will have FREE DRESS ON FRIDAYS. *Teacher will inform You if student qualifies For FREE DRESS.

9 Home/school communication
Please check your child’s folder on a daily basis. All communication,flyers,and notices will be sent home in your child’s folder. A monthly calendar will have all IMPORTANT DATES on it. A behavior calendar will also be sent home daily.

10 Birthdays Please notify us in advance if you would like to bring something for your child’s birthday. Cupcakes/Goodies must be STORE-BOUGHT. Please note that deliveries to the school must be made before 8:00am for AM and full day classes and between 11:30am and 12:00pm for PM classes.

11 Behavior Behavior Codes I was not following directions.
I was not listening. I did not participate. I did not have self control. I was not doing my work. I misbehaved out of class.

I met a few of the objectives of the task or lesson, but did not meet others. 1 (Did Not Meet Standard): Didn’t Get It Yet! I did not meet any of the objectives of the task or lesson.

15 Uniform & clothing LABEL Sweaters/Jackets with CHILD’S FIRST NAME/LAST NAME Make sure your child can BUTTON/UNBUTTON their clothing Prefer NO BELTS NO SANDALS/HEELS

16 Uniform & clothing Your child will be going outside for RECESS.
Your child may come home with sand in their shoes/clothing. Students will be asked to empty sand from their shoes before returning to class.

Can Drop Off Supplies in Front Office. (Student/Teacher Name on Bag of Supplies) No NAMES ON SUPPLIES PLEASE PUT CHILD’S NAME ON FOLDERS/NOTEBOOKS

18 Monthly Projects Projects will be given monthly
Please work on projects with your child Counts as a Homework grade

19 VOLUNTEERS We are always looking for volunteers.
Please fill out background check in the office. To attend Field Trips, you must have a BACKGROUND CHECK. Copy of your STATE ID will be made when you submit your Volunteer Form.

20 Communication Parent Communication Form (Behavior Folder)
Teacher’s Conference period is from 2:30-3:15 PM Monday-Wednesday, and Friday *please contact your child’s teacher to make an appointment

21 Communication If there is a change in pick-up for your child, please notify their teacher. If you have LEGAL DOCUMENTS, please bring them to the office so we can make a copy of them. We CANNOT transfer calls to your child’s teacher during instruction time. We will take a message for them. If you change your PHONE NUMBER, please stop by the office to make the change.

22 EARLY RELEASE DATES Students WILL ALL come in the AM (7:45-11:00AM)
Please make arrangements with your child’s caregiver/daycare for 11:00AM PICKUP. ALL BUS STUDENTS will ride the BUS. (Follow normal routes)
