Writing Assignment – Personal Narrative In Chief Joseph’s Speech “I Will Fight No More Forever,” he explains his decision to surrender. Think about a time when you had to defend your actions. Write a personal narrative in which you describe the situation and your feelings, and explain why you acted as you did. Your essay should be 3-4 paragraphs in length, including introduction and conclusion.

6 MLA Format—10 points Title (appropriate and creative/interesting)
Typed in Times Roman 12 font, black ink, double spaced, with one-inch margins Or, neatly handwritten in blue ink, black ink, or pencil, traditional notebook paper, observing the margins and spacing. No abbreviations or symbols for words or letters. Due to the nature of a personal narrative, you may write in first person and use contractions.
