6. There is also large number of dams and the reservoirs which are using and in the industrial purposes and as tanks of drinking water.

8. London is located in the flat territory of the London pool. The highest point above sea level — Vesterkhem-Hayts (245 m) in the extreme southeast of the city.

9. From the southwest to the east through London the Thames — the navigable river flowing into the North Sea proceeds. Its length within the city is 68 km.

10. Stonehendge is approximately in 130 km to the southwest from London.
