2  To mobilize faith leaders across the United States to come together annually in the country’s Capital to pray for: The Nation The World The President, his family and his Cabinet Political Leaders (Democrats, Republicans & Independents) Goal 2

3  To pray for the United States, in particular, and the world in general  To ensure the observation of an annual day of prayer (May 7, 2016 – Saturday) at The White House Objectives 3

4  To live up to the significance of the country’s motto, “In God We Trust”  To bring together faith leaders, policymakers and the community at large to intercede on behalf of the President, His Cabinet, political leaders, our nation and the world at large Objectives (continued) 4

5  The White House Prayer Initiative was birth in 1998 out of a vision given to Rev. Terry Lee of the By-Ways and Hedges Youth For Christ Ministry, Inc.  A meeting was convened consisting of Faith Leaders from New York and Washington who explored ways of coming together to identify a national strategy among the faith community, to pray in unity for the leaders of our country History 5

7  The White House Prayer Initiative has grown from a single state (New York) to include representation of faith-based leaders from the following states and country:  California* Texas  Connecticut* Virginia  Florida* Washington  Maryland* Canada  New Jersey* Jamaica, West Indies  Pennsylvania Growth of the Vision 7 (continued)

8 Collaborators/Partnership has expanded to include:  Government  Elected Officials  Print and Electronic Media Companies  Entertainers  Community & Church Organizers Additional Growth of the Vision 8

9  The purpose of the Organizational Structure for the White House Prayer for our Nation is to PRAY and assist participants in EFFECTIVELY planning and executing necessary tasks to guarantee the success of this event. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE 9

11 Weekly Teleconference Meetings will be held. All Standing Committee Members have specific responsibilities and work with the Coordinators & Directors to submit weekly/bi-weekly status reports to monitor committee members’ performances. Committee Meetings 11

16 10,000 texts to be sent as a forward to friends and family. When you text, please be sure to share the date of the event, the time of departure, the place of departure and appropriate contact information. 17 Each committee will be assisting with sending flyers and other material to community organizations, their associates, friends and family via mail through the post office. Work Site: 323 East 53 Street, Brooklyn, New York 11203 Friday nights or Intern School on Saturday (time TBD) 17 Mailing

18 To help with volunteering, you can fill out Volunteer Form and complete and return it TODAY to do the following tasks:Volunteer Form 1.Make numerous phone calls, send emails, send text messages and post on the internet that you are attending. They are a must for success. 2.We need to make 10,000 phone calls per 7 states. Make sure you follow up to see if the emails were received and if invitee will be attending by working with Committee Leader, Quality Assurance Director, Communications Director, one of the Executive Assistants or Rev. Terry Lee. 18 Calls

19 Promotion Prospecting 19 (Make a List of 100 People who you know want to see the country changed through prayer then: CALL, TEXT OR EMAIL THEM and contact Quality Assurance Director, Committee Members, Communications Director or one of the Executive Assistants and let them know so they can follow up!)

20  Make a Pledge or Financial Contribution Today  Sponsor the Chairs, Choir, Stage, Music Production, Food, Youth to Attend White House Trip  Join a Committee (Social Media Director, Sponsorship Director and Journal Program Ad Director Needed)  Volunteer to make calls, send text messages, WORK ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT  Promote the event: Word of Mouth is still effective  Sponsorship (Event, Bus, Stage Area, Journal Ad, Youth  Become a Coordinator for your state/region  Other Involvement – contact us with ideas Contact: Rev.
