Shutting Down a GMAW/FCAW Station To avoid damage, follow these steps in order: 1.Adjust flowmeter to stop shielding gas flow 2.Close cylinder valve or valve on manifold 3.Readjust flowmeter to restart shielding gas flow 4.Press purge switch on wire feeder 5.Turn wire feeder off 6.Turn welding machine off 7.Coil cables and store properly
