Student Worker: To qualify as a University Student Worker, students must be accepted to the university as matriculated and must be enrolled in courses. Students must have been enrolled in the prior spring semester and certify in writing an intention to continue enrollment in the subsequent fall semester or enrolled during the current summer semester To apply for on-campus jobs, students should log onto JOBSs using their MySCSU login information.JOBSs Once the profile is completed, the student will be able to apply directly to departments looking for student help. Is NOT part of a student’s financial aid package

9 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING EMPLOYMENT PROCESS If a student position is already filled, we ask that you still put the position on JOBSs, have the student worker upload their resume and apply for the position. This is so they can learn the proper procedures of applying for future positions! One main purpose of making this move is to streamline the student employment process because our office strives to train our students on the proper procedures of applying for future positions. We are encouraging ALL departments to utilize JOBSs for ALL student employment purposes

10 Contact Us We can answer any questions relating to Resumes, Application Process, and/or JOBSs All Supervisor’s, please direct your questions to: Careerservices@southernct.edu Careerservices@southernct.edu
