Once you do that, you can see the specific competition for which you have applied. This listing is accurate, if you believe you applied for a competition or are unsure about a successful submission, check for the confirmation email. If it doesn’t show up in the list of submitted applications we may not have received your application. You should follow these steps again to ensure it was received.
Here is a sample successful application message on your profile.
To be eligible for internal competitions, you must currently work for a department or agency scheduled to the Public Service Commission Act, or be on lay-off status, as per Government's Human Resource Policy Manual or applicable Collective Agreement. Any applicant not meeting these requirements will be screened from the competition process.
If you meet the eligibility criteria to apply for an internal employment opportunity, select the competition number and open the job ad to review the duties and qualifications.
The main difference in an online application is the first section which must be accurately completed to show eligibility. All three fields must be completed. Please ensure you enter your start date and, if applicable, your end date as displayed.
The other sections of the internal application are the same as in a public application. Please ensure documents are closed prior to uploading.
The Public Service Commission online portal also displays Featured Public and Internal Employment Opportunities. You may review them by viewing the pdf file listed and then clicking the blue Apply Now button to follow the same online application process described earlier. Under the heading ‘Other Public Employment Opportunities’, applicants will find employment opportunities which have various methods in which to apply. They are indicated in each individual job ad.
