3. Passe compose means past tense. To put a sentence in past tense, avoir, or être for some verbs,must be added.

5. To make a sentence with passé composé negative, place a ne…pas around the first verb, which is avoir.

6. Nous navons pas mangé de viande. We didnt eat any meat. Je nai rien volé. I didnt steal anything.
