3. Welding and fabrication Within my qualifications I am most proud of my City & Guilds level 1 & 2 as this is the area in witch I want to build a career. Within these qualification I studied welding theory and both practiced MIG and MMA welding processes. I also used a variety of machines including thermal cutting equipment, cold cutting equipment and spot welders among other things. My favourite welding process is MMA as I feel that it requires more skill to use however you have more control over the weld itself.

6. Work interests I am currently looking for work based in an engineering setting preferably welding. My dream job is to become a plater welder. I have gained the necessary qualifications to do so as well as some that I think will help towards achieving a higher skill set within welding such as my CSCS card I am also interested in trying to obtain an apprenticeship as I feel this is the one of the best opportunities working alongside experienced and time served individuals will really help to improve my knowledge and skill set.
