These are :- Work related subjects that suit students who are ready to learn useful skills for the type of work they might want to do Practical courses that allow you to develop general skills Assessed through a mix of exams and collecting evidence of your skills A mixture of BTEC Level 2 courses and Level 1 Courses

Yes, the first aim at the end of Year 11 is to achieve your expected progress (you should know your expected GCSE grades) English and Maths are a necessity if you want a promising job, career and life so passes at A*-C in E & M is a key target. So remember whatever you choose to do with your life you really need to achieve English and Maths You will have almost double the time for English and Maths in the curriculum next year to help you achieve this aim !!

13. Your Tutor will help guide you through the choices and Core Subjects in the coming months. There will be some important factors to consider alongside just choosing your favourite subjects.

16. Work with your Tutor on your route through the options! Start to research courses ! Find out what you need for your plans at 16+ Talk to your subject teachers ! Speak to older students that you know. Attend options evening (Tues 12th January)

17. 1 v 1 Interviews These start with your Form Tutor next week and will be a regular part of each week to the end of December when we will print your route tickets.
