3 Guideline #1 Be in your assigned seat and working on the assigned bellwork and EQ when the tardy bell rings. Please fill out your agenda with homework assignment (if necessary)

4 Guideline #2 Bring ALL materials to class and take them with you when you leave.

5 Guideline #3 Follow directions the first time they are given.

6 Guideline #4 Treat each person in this room with respect and dignity.

7 Guideline #5 Follow all procedures and policies as outlined in the school and county handbooks.

8 Guideline #6 No student should be in the hall without permission or supervision.

9 Summary Be Prompt! Be Present! Be Polite! Be Prepared! Be Positive!

15 Severe Clause Any student who uses profanity, fights, damages school property (this includes the property of the teacher and other students), or is disrespectful (as defined by the teacher) will be sent to the office IMMEDIATELY.

18 When you are tardy... Enter quietly. Excused: Place excuse in the basket on my desk. Unexcused: Sign detention list on top of file cabinet. Have a seat and take out your materials.

20 Paper Heading Name, Date, Period/Subject, Unique Number Place on all homework assignments

22 Student Responsibility Card This is for students who do not have the assigned homework. Fill it out. Sign and date it. Turn it in with the homework papers.

24 If You Finish Early: What do you do? Work on unfinished Latin assignments. Re-read sections in the textbook or prepare for another section. Complete your bellwork/EQ Review vocabulary words. Start working on tonight’s homework.

25 Excused Absences Homework will be updated daily on: –Blog: Taylor Road –Google Classroom: Autrey Mill Retrieve any handouts. Sign the notebook. Hand in completed homework –(arrangements can be made if needed)

26 Scheduled Check Out Please let me know as you enter the classroom. Quietly raise your hand to get my attention. Pack your materials and leave at the scheduled time. If it is an emergency, quickly get my attention and I will assist you.

27 Turning in Papers Place your paper on the desk next to you. –Left side If/When you receive a paper, place yours on top and continue passing the stack to your left. 198

28 Classroom Discussions PLEASE participate. I want to hear what you have to say. Make all questions and comments relevant to the current discussion. If your question is off the topic, write it down and ask later.

29 Moving Around the Room You must ask permission. Do not ask during a classroom discussion unless it is an emergency.

30 Class Dismissal The teacher dismisses you, not the bell. Wait until the teacher finishes and officially dismisses you with “Have a nice day! ”
