It’s far from a simple switch-on The rollout of fibre broadband in Nottinghamshire requires meticulous planning It’s modelled on one leading principle – to bring fibre broadband to the most amount of homes and businesses for the funds available We also take into account engineering logic, local demographics, geography, planning requirements and existing infrastructure This is why it can result in it being possible to deliver fibre broadband to one village but not the one next to it We’re doing everything we can to bring fibre broadband to as many homes and businesses in Nottinghamshire as possible
6
According to Ofcom, 78% of the UK can access NGA broadband UK-wide take-up of fibre over BT’s network is 15% UK-wide take up of fibre across the BDUK project areas is 10% Take-up in Nottinghamshire is 4.9% Support the programme Success is about more than just the network
