2 Organisation structure for project delivery; NMU4 Ltd are overseeing management contractor LH Architecture are developing each design proposal and the relevant drawings Bright Home Renewables Ltd are the building contractor who installing the package into customers homes

3 The project; Aimed at the market who cannot afford a full loft conversion Also for those where Building Regulations will not allow a compliant room or stair to be created in loft because of headroom Specifically designed to not need any Local Authority approvals Ideally suited for; Games rooms Hobby rooms Store rooms Spaces void of roof insulation Maximising dry warm space in the home for resale

4 Customer expectation; The customer will often envision using the space as; The customer can use the space how they like in the future, however we CANNOT sell the product like this because; A home office A children's bedroom A guest bedroom After install the loft is not a legally habitable room because of; Insufficient ventilation (CO 2 issues) Insufficient headroom and access to the Loft Non compliant for Building Regulations as a room

5 The existing condition; Ideal existing situation pictured left Positioning of timber does not require modification Reasonable access for construction work Existing poor quality insulation All roofing materials can be accommodated by our package (tiles, slate, etc)

6 Materials delivered The procedure;Day 1 Lay protective coverings throughout working and access areas Cut out and then bridle opening for loft ladder Strap floor (if reqd.) & fit chipboard Lift remaining materials into attic Cover loft hatch Leave all areas tidy

7 Arrive on site and heat up product The procedure;Day 2 Lay protective coverings Spray foam at approx 100mm from eaves to apex both sides Spray both gable walls Check customer is satisfied and all areas are fully sprayed Cover loft hatch Sign off and tidy work area

8 Lay protective coverings The procedure;Day 3 Strap ceilings and hanging post using distance screws Fit dwangs to catch edge of plasterboard Fit plasterboard to ceiling areas. Install stud framework to both gable walls Fit plasterboard to gable walls Install loft ladder Clean all areas Remove all debris from site Show client how to operate completed works.
