3. Bible Ministry is an important aspect of Christian and faith formation in our parishes.  Through regular family visits, sincere efforts have been made to encourage the people to have Bibles, to read the Bible, and to pray with the Bible in the families.  In the basic Christian communities, the importance of reading the Word of God and to pray with it is encouraged and insisted.

4.  Through seminars we educate the people on the importance and relevance of the Word of God for our daily life.

5. Bible Ministry in an integral part of our Claretian formation.  We impart Bible knowledge to the children, youth and adults through regular Bible classes.  We encourage them to have personal Bibles.  On some occasions we have been invited to give seminars on how to pray with the Bible for specific groups.

6.  In order for the participants to grow deeper in Bible knowledge and to make the learning interesting, we conduct competitions on specific areas each year with attractive prizes/gifts.

7. Is one of the pastoral activities of the Claretian Missionaries. It aims at spreading the values of the Gospel through media.  Publishing Bible diaries is one of the important activities in achieving this goal.  The purpose of Bible diaries is to make the Word of God available to the people in an affordable and attractive manner.

8.  The contextualized reflections for each day make the Word of God more relevant to the people and their daily life.  We produce Bible diaries in three languages i.e. Swahili, English and Shona.

9. Swahili diaries  Started in 2004 with 4,000 copies.  For 2014, we have printed 42,000 copies. Target group:  People in Tanzania, Kenya and some parts of Congo (DRC)

10. English diaries (African Edition)  Started in 2010 with 4,000 copies.  For 2014, we have printed 10,000 copies Target group:  People in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tanzania and some Afro- Europeans (we need to strengthen our markets in Malawi and Zambia)

11. Shona diaries  It is a new initiative from Claretian Missionaries working in Zimbabwe and is executed in collaboration with Claretian publications, Tanzania.  For 2014 we have printed 4,000 copies. Target group:  People in Zimbabwe. Every Claretian Community is East Africa and Zimbabwe is actively involved in one way or another in this ministry.

12.  Publishing Bibles in Swahili  Publishing books on various topics  Publishing Bible diaries in different local languages like Kikuyu.  Establishing of Claret Catholic Centre at Kimara, Dar es Salaam. God Bless you Thank You
