2.  Everyone in your group should have a different speech  Individually, close read your speech. Look for:  Modes of persuasion  Rhetorical devices  Strong leadership traits  Highlight the elements of being a strong leader in a specific color on your speech.

3.  In your acting groups, share out about your speech  What strong leadership traits did you see in your speech?  Discuss speeches as a group

4. ESSAY PROMPT  You will be writing an essay synthesizing the elements of a strong leader from the excerpt from The Prince, the Brutus or Antony speech you analyzed, and the modern-day political speech you analyzed. You should be writing about the strong leader qualities they saw in the three pieces. Your essay should use these three pieces to detail what makes a strong leader.
