Diabetes What do diabetics have to deal with every day of their lives? – They have to deal with regulating their blood sugar through insulin and exercising. However, diabetics are not capable of doing high intensity exercises.

The Diabetic Work Out Our Product is a diabetic exercise video that allows diabetics to work out and lower their blood sugar by using it, without them developing hypoglycemia and becoming at risk.

Warnings Ensure that you consult a doctor to insure that you are healthy enough for exercise. Lower glucose levels, and little to no history of problems is recommended before starting this workout.

The Diabetic Work Out In our workout, diabetics will start off with a warm up, followed by some low level aerobic exercises. After a few initial, low-level exercises, they will then move on to more moderate work out. Finally, after working out, they will end with a cool down. By doing this, diabetics will be able to do exercises, while still maintaining healthy glucose levels.

Model

Example Work Out Stretch and Warm up – The video will take users through a walk and stretch to get the blood flowing to your muscles.

Example Work Out Low-Intensity Aerobic Exercises – After warming up and stretching, the video will take the users through some brisk walking on the treadmill or some light elliptical work, just to name a few. – This exercise will be done for 10 minutes.

Example Workout Moderate Intensity Aerobic Exercise – After some low-intensity exercise, the video will go into some moderate exercises, such as a jog on the treadmill, some stationary cycling, or even swimming. – This will be done for 20 -30 minutes.

Example Workout Cool Down – It is important to cool the muscles down after a workout, so the muscles stay loose, and the heart rate comes down. – The video will take users through more stretching and other exercises in order to cool the body down.

How Does it Help? These exercises help diabetics to manage their glucose levels. Aerobic exercises lowers glucose levels by enhancing the muscles ability to store glucose. – The body will then be able to use more of the glucose put in and blood sugar will be at a more healthy level. Our program allows diabetics to workout without having hypoglycemia because they will be performing aerobic exercises that are not too strenuous.

What We Will Do If granted the funds, we will start start trials to see if the workouts that we approve actually benefit the users. Based on the results we gather, we will then make adjustments to the program and run more trials until we find out what works. After the optimal workout is determined, we will then begin production of the videos.
