2 The Restoration of Bridge Street This is Ramsbottom Bridge Street in 2011 This is Ramsbottom Bridge Street in 1928 Bridge Street is on of the main roads, where all cars pass through but also some trains pass through on a railway in the middle of the road.

3 The Restoration of The Oak The Oaks 2011 The Royal Oak 1927 The Oaks is a pub in the centre of Ramsbottom, which has only just been refurbished. Back in 2009 it was a known as The Royal Oak. Back in 1927 it was smaller, as a shop was where on half of the pub is now.

4 The Restoration of Ramsbottom Swimming Pool Ramsbottom Swimming Pool in 1972 Ramsbottom Swimming Pool in 2010 Ramsbottom Swimming Pool in1970 Ramsbottom Swimming Pool was originally just had a pool but now after the restoration of it now has a gym facility for people to work out and get fit.

5 The Restoration of Carr Street Carr street has changed a lot, all the houses have gone except for the news agents. There is a new library and Play Centre

6 The Restoration of Nuttall Park Nuttall Park was built by the Grant brothers, who lived in Nuttall Hall until they died. During World War 2 the hall was used to house evacuees. It was demolished in 1952 and is now home to the car park. In 2008 the river Irwell rose so high that it flooded the park. The benefits of Sat Nav technology as a lorry gets stuck trying to cut through Ramsbottom.

There are no factory chimneys due to lack of industry in Ramsbottom 2011, but there are more houses and apartments due to the restoration of all these disused factories.

8 Peel Tower On the top of Holcombe Hill there is Peel Tower, which built and opened in 1852 to commemorate Sir Robert Peel, who was Prime Minister of Britain between 1841 and 1846 and founded the modern Police Force. Inside there are 150 steps to climb to the top.

9 Types of Properties in Ramsbottom The are a many different types of property in Ramsbottom, ranging from old terraced houses, built with the factories to house their workers. Brand new houses, which are built on some of these old factory sites. Apartments, renovated from old disused buildings.

10 Woodhey High School The School is a specialist Science College. It was opened in 1979 and has several extensions and underwent a refurbishment about 4 years ago.

11 The Shops we have in Ramsbottom and Bury. These are just some of the shops we have in Ramsbottom and Bury.
