To get here press compressor # button Shows whether machine is under local or Optimizer control Other detailed compressor info. Compressor picture is generic, not specific to actual compressor

17 Setpoints The System Set Points screen enables both viewing and changing the user set points. To enter the screens described in Table 4.8, press the corresponding button. If access code control to these set points has been activated through the System Configuration screens, the proper code must be entered here before any of the set point screen buttons can be pressed. A Pressure Setup This is used for entering the desired pressures (and pressure events) that the IEO is to maintain in the air system. B Sequence Rotation This is used to select one of three ways to change compressor sequences: Timed, Event or Manual. It also leads to the setup screens for each of these three. C IntelliFlow Setup This is used for setting the IntelliFlow valve control variables, Warning threshold and pressure events. D Pressure Control This is used for setting a pressure bandwidth and time delays associated with maintaining the IEO system pressure. E Clock Setup This is used to set the IEO system time-of-day clock and date. F Sequence Setup This is used to enter the order of machines for each of 8 automatic sequences. G Dew Point Setup This is used to enable the Dew Point monitoring features including entering the scale factors and Alert threshold. H User Access Code This field is optionally active. When activated by the administrator, a special access code will have to be entered to gain access to individual buttons A through G. This code is set through the “System Configuration” and “Initialize Set Points” screens. This is defaulted to “No Code” in a new IEO.

18 Pressure Setup A Event Number
Indicates the pressure event number. This column is not changeable. B Event Active Changes/indicates the pressure event state. The attribute will toggle between active and not active as the cell is pressed. Valid values: Check:- Pressure event is active. X: Pressure event is not active. C Pressure Changes/indicates the target pressure for this event. A zero setting will cause the IEO to unload all machines regardless of the actual system pressure. PSI BAR KPA KG/CM D Time Indicates the time this event will occur. IEO time is kept in 24 hour format. New values are entered through the system keypad. Examples (The format is HH:MM): 06:45 (6:45 a.m.) 15:15 (3:15 p.m.) E Day Indicates the day(s) of the week this event will occur. Each event can be any one of the following choices.  SUNDAY  SATURDAY The pressure event will be in effect for the specific, single day chosen at the time of day entered.  DAILY The pressure event will be in effect every day of the week.  WEEK DAY The pressure event will be in effect every day Monday through Friday.  WEEK END The pressure event will be in effect both Saturday and Sunday. Note that if two or more events have the same Time of Day and Day of the Week entries, the lower numbered event will have priority.

19 Pressure Control A Bandwidth
Indicates/changes the target pressure bandwidth. The IEO will load compressors when the system pressure falls below the current target pressure minus one-half of the Bandwidth. Likewise it will unload compressors when the system pressure is above the target plus one-half of the Bandwidth. Values are chosen from a list of values derived from the current unit-of-measure. Valid values: PSI B Load Delay Indicates/changes the amount of time in seconds that the IEO waits before unloading a machine, after the system pressure rises above the upper limit of the pressure band. Valid values: Seconds C Unload Delay Indicates/changes the amount of time in seconds that the IEO waits before loading a machine, after the system pressure falls below the lower limit of the pressure band.

20 Event Sequence Rotation
A Event Number Indicates the sequence event number. This column is not changeable. B Event Active Changes/Indicates the sequence event state. The attribute will toggle between active and not active as the cell is pressed. Valid values: Check:- Sequence event is active. X: Sequence event is not active. C Sequence Indicates the sequence to run for this event. Valid values: A – H D Time Indicates the time the event will occur. IEO time is kept in 24 hour format. New values are entered through the system keypad. Examples (The format for time is HH:MM): 06:45 (6:45 a.m.) 15:15 (3:15 p.m.) E Day Indicates the day(s) of the week this event will occur. Each event can be any one of the following choices.  SUNDAY  SATURDAY The sequence event will be in effect for the specific, single day chosen at the time of day entered.  DAILY The sequence event will be in effect every day of the week.  WEEK DAY The sequence event will be in effect every day Monday through Friday.  WEEK END The sequence event will be in effect both Saturday and Sunday.

21 IntelliFlow A Setup Selects the screen for setting the IntelliFlow’s target pressure and the PID control loop tuning parameters. B Pressure Events Selects the screen for setting the IntelliFlow’s automatic pressure change events. C Warning Level Indicates/selects the warning level of the Intelliflow. 23 Typical System IntelliFlow Controller Properly Sized Air Storage
Air Receiver Air Treatment Components Back to the “typical system” or “Our Playground” Talk through different scenario’s 1st. What happens if that storage moves to the wet side? 2nd What happens if that storage disappears? How does the IntelliFlow function without it? 3rd What happens if the storage is inadequately sized and a peak demand event occurs? 4th What happens if the IntelliFlow isn’t there? What is the impact on leaks / aritificial demand? IntelliFlow Controller Properly Sized Air Storage

Connecting to the IEO IEO Control External Communication Pre – Intellisys & Competitive Units ISC-II Interface N/A IR Red Eye and SE Controller Direct Connection Intellisys Remote Interface IR SG or SGN Controller Non- Intellisys (pre- Intellisys & competitive units) require an ISC-II interface for connecting to an IEO. Since we can’t communicate with competitive controller’s & pre-Intellisys units can’t communicate at all, there is no way to communicate via Modbus through the IEO to these units. Red eye Intellisys compressors can be directly connected to the IEO for control. An IRI is only required if the customer also wants to communicate via the Modbus port on the IEO to the individual compressors. If customer wants to communicate only to the IEO to get system data, then IRI is NOT req’d. It is only req’d to actually talk to individual compressors. SG does not require any intermediary devices for control or Modbus (via the IEO, not as standalone) communications. The SG must have appropriate level of software for communications. This can be upgraded to current level for existing machines in the field.
