8 Visit Seattle CONFIDENTIAL Inbound/Outbound Activities Visit Seattle Tourism Development January Tourism Development Activity Inbound The Tourism Development team hosted 1 FAM in January, which included two members of the newly appointed UK representation firm for the Port of Seattle and Visit Seattle. Outbound Japan Sales Trip January 25-29, 2016 Visit Seattle, in partnership with Delta Air Lines, hosted dinners for VIP clients in Tokyo and Osaka January 25-29, 2016. Delta Air Lines launches nonstop service between Osaka and Tokyo on March 27, 2016, which conveniently connects those in the Kansai region to Delta's nonstop service between Tokyo and Seattle. To ensure Visit Seattle provided its clients with a first- class experience, Canlis' co-owner Mark Canlis and Brady Williams, Executive Chef, joined the trip and prepared Seattle- inspired meals. The dinners also featured Washington wines and beer. Leslie Kunde, Vice Chair of Visit Seattle, and Mike Medeiros, Vice President - Seattle, at Delta Air Lines, also joined Tom Norwalk on the trip. The roster of executives helped attract Visit Seattle's very best media and travel trade customers.
