3  Children who eat too much and not exercising enough.  Who consume food and drinks that are high in sugar and fat on a regular basis.  Children who spend much of their hours on watching TV and playing video games for a longer period of time without activities that burns up their calories. http://www.webmd.com/diet/what-is-obesity

4  Children who live in an environment where healthy eating and physical activity are not encouraged.  Children who come from a low-income family who do not have choice to make healthy eating and active living a priority.  Childhood obesity could be a genetic disease or hormone disorder such as Prader-Willi syndrome or Cushing's syndrome.

5  Eating disorders  Type 2 diabetes  High blood pressure and high blood cholesterol  Metabolic syndrome  Liver disease

8 TREATMENT  Keep healthy lifestyle choices by exercising regularly and eating healthy food  Maintain standard meal practices, snacks and physical activity  Encourage children to drink more water instead sugar sweetened beverages

9  Weight loss is recommended for children who have obesity related health concern  Recommended weight loss should be from one pound a week to one pound a month.
