5 Round 2 - Covalent Are the atoms the same (O 2 ) or are they different (CO 2 )? o Exist paired in nature o Go to 7, make a 7, and don’t forget H o N 2, O 2, F 2, Cl 2, Br 2, I 2, H 2 o Uses prefixes o First element must be >1 for prefix o Second element always gets a prefix
