4 Communicating with students  All RPR (provisionally enrolled) students:  Email when online registration opens  Reminders on Friday 1 st and 8 th October  Registration closes tonight on 15 th October  “Registration closed – you did not register” 18th October Only students who are RPR when these emails are sent will receive them

6 2010/1 Online registration  Who?  New Unconditional Home/EU: Full Time UG/PG/PGCE/ & Distance Learners – no restrictions/off campus  Part Time PG- no restrictions/off campus  Returning students – no restrictions/off campus  New Conditional International: Full Time, Erasmus, JYA – after arrival on campus (after presenting documents to Admissions)  SITS Status  RPR (provisionally enrolled) students can register  RCD (conditional), RHL* (results held), RDB (debtor) students cannot register  When?  Opens Monday 13 September, closes Friday 15 October.  Late fee = £50

7 Welcome Week- Exeter Arrivals Weekend - Sat 25 & Sun 26 September: Admissions, UniCard collection, Student Finance, Welcome bags for students in private accommodation. Peter Chalk 10am-5pm Mon 27 - Friday 1 st October: Services available as above New International Tier 4 students are able to request Bank letters online and collect from the Information desk. Peter Chalk 9am -5pm (3pm on Friday)

8 Welcome Week- Cornwall Arrivals Weekend : Sat 25 & Sun 26 September: UniCard collection & Admissions- The Stannary: 10am-4pm Mon 27 September onwards: UniCard collection & Admissions- Peter Lanyon Bldg: 10am-4.30pm

9 MyExeter (the Student Portal)

10 New Students: IT Username & Password collection

11 Login to MyExeter

12 Post-Registration Processes  On 18 October RPR status changed to “Not Registered” (RNR)  IT access withdrawn from next working day  Spreadsheet of non registered students supplied to Colleges - any ‘No shows’ (year 1 RCD, RNR) investigated by Colleges and Registry  Colleges are encouraged to run Oracle report to identify non registrations.  Any special cases to be discussed with Registry

13 Late Arrivals and Tier 4  On 18 October all new non-registration records to RNR (not RCD rcords)  If the student is due to arrive after the 15 October please record the late arrival date and reason in SPR  Email to: pbsregistry@exeter.ac.uk Subject: Late Arrival Include: name, student number, arrival date  Registry amend to RPR if necessary. No student will be reported to the UKBA without prior consultation with the College.
