If you haven’t already, finalize a list of colleges to which you will apply Campus Visits - call ahead, prepare questions College Rep Visits – schedule on announcements and school website College Fair Tuesday, September 24 th 4:30-8:00 PM Minneapolis Convention Center Over 400 Colleges On-line resources College specific sites Naviance
2. Re-take the ACT if needed Saturday, October 26 th Registration deadline September 27 th 3. Update Naviance ‘My Colleges’ account Colleges I’m interested in Colleges I’m applying to 4. Complete and submit college applications Make sure you are aware of specific deadlines Best to have most applications out by Thanksgiving break

Application Form Most are completed on-line and submitted electronically Length and requirements vary Adhere to requirements Transcripts All requests are made through Parchment www.parchment.com Cost per transcript ($3) Can track status online Test Scores MWHS does not send scores Request scores to be sent through www.actstudent.org or www.collegeboard.com Counselor Forms Not required by all Provide an addressed and stamped envelope Allow 1-2 weeks turnaround time Letter of Rec. Complete Senior Info Sheet Allow 2 weeks for letter writing Discuss what to do with completed letter Write a thank you note
