2. Connect Memory Stick to the laptop and export the Enrolment data through the client software 1 Steps to be performed by an Enrolment Agency Put the Memory Stick in a CD-pack envelope 2 Put the pre-printed barcode sticker, and pre-printed address sticker on the envelope, which must be procured from the registrar 3 Take down the barcode number given on the pre-printed barcode sticker 4 - Deliver the envelope to the nearest post office(List of which will be published by UIDAI) - Procure acknowledgement form the post office, as under current speed post system - Maintain a copy of the acknowledgement, and give one to the supervisor 5

3. Connect Enrolment Station online to CIDR at least once in two days for the following automated steps: a)A manifest is uploaded to CIDR. This is a list of all enrolment data added since last connection. It informs CIDR in advance what data to expect. b)For the data records successfully received at CIDR, the process for deletion of such data residing at the enrolment station is triggered automatically. c)In cases where there is problem with data records received from this enrolment station, a fresh instruction for EXPORTING this data again is generated automatically. 6 For technical assistance to carry out the above, call on the technical helpline 1800-180-1947 The EA code to getter faster access to the assistant is 68 **

4. Will be established by September, 2010 Transferring data through pipelines Enrolment Operators will be enabled to send data to CIDR electronically, and get intimation for any further action in real time Enrolment operators will be given a unique user ID and password to access CIDR server Will be through a Secure File Transfer Network(SFTP) at the back end, accessed by a standard VPN upload by the enrolment operator.
