50 Look back at the list in Exercise 1 and divide the values into ‘material’ (e.g. having a big car) and ‘non- material’ values, e.g. (having friends). Write these in two columns and elicit more suggestions of material and non-material values to add to the columns. Step 1

51 In groups, choose three material values and three non-material values that are important for everybody. Then exchange ideas, justifying your decisions. Then write an article to narrate( 叙述 ) your own choice and the reason why you do so. Step 2
