2 2 Session aims: An introduction to enable teachers and teacher trainers to consider the numeracy skills critical for progression from E2 to E3 and to consolidate skills at Entry 3 for further progression. To explore some of the resources available to support teachers and learners through the Move On website.

3 3 The starting points for the E3 maths resources Key learning points from the NRDC research and the Effective Practice Study in numeracy. Direct feedback from provider questionnaires. The influence of Thinking through Mathematics.

4 4 Skills critical to enable progression in World Class Skills? Can we identify the numeracy skills critical for progression from Entry 2 to Entry 3 and at Entry 3? Can we link these with resources available on the Move Up Teacher Route, E3 numeracy section of the Learner Route and in links with national teaching and learning resources?
