Philosophy provides the tools needed to examine one’s life (The unexamined life is not worth living). The tools of Philosophy are sound thought, precise language and openness to the ideas of others. The study of Ethics or Moral Philosophy strengthens one’s ability to: discern right action, act on one’s discernment, and communicate or explain why a particular action is morally right or good. Consideration of other views.
