6 Why can’t I find the textbook at NIMAS/FL?  The copyright is before 2006.  It is considered ancillary material.  It is a trade book, novel, poetry, or play.  NIMAS/Florida has not yet assigned this textbook to an Accessible Media Producer (AMP). Reason could be that textbook title is a new adoption (science in 2011-12 and social studies in 2012-13) or it is an obscure title.

7 How do I register students at NIMAS/FL - and Bookshare & Learning Ally? 1. Registering at NIMAS/FL registers them with Bookshare 2. Registering at Bookshare registers them with NIMAS/FL 3. Registering at NIMAS/FL registers them with Learning Ally 4. Registering at Learning Ally registers them with NIMAS/FL 5. Registering a student with a 504 Plan at Bookshare makes them eligible for NIMAS/FL 6. None of the above

8 More Questions … 1. Do I have to order books at NIMAS/FL when they are already available at Bookshare or Learning Ally? 2. I’m having problems opening the files from Bookshare. What do I do?

9 NIMAS/FL Database Update Easier ordering from Bookshare & Learning Ally. Ability of DRMs to assign ESE teachers to register and order books both with DRM approval. For TVIs and for TVIs that serve as both TVIs and DRMs, there will be a different process.
