3 Curbside Recycling Program 93,000+ eligible single family homes Cost of program - $1,889,781 ( Periodic revenue ) Set-out rate – 38% (bi-weekly) Participation Rate – 50% Tons collected 13,604 Cost Per Ton - $139 ( All costs associated with program )

4 Convenience Center Drop-off Recycling Program Program open to all County Residents Cost of Program - $42,600 Participation – Over 100,000 visits ( includes both sites ) Tons Collected – 1,131 Cost Per Ton - $36.78 ( CVWMA and County programs)

13 Too Good To Waste Residents are able to place gently used items in this area, as well as remove items for personal use. Estimated to keep at least 2 tons of waste out of the landfill a month

14 Electronic Recycling Computers, Televisions, Scanners, copiers, telephones, VCRs, DVD Players – (anything with a plug) FY09 tons collected 140 thru April 2009 FY09 estimated cost of program - $22,000

15 Textile Recycling Used clothes and shoes are accepted 10 Tons collected thru April 2009 No cost for this program
