Dozens of companies have already come and gone. We’ve been providing Hosted Voice over IP on Essentials since 2006. Most of the other Business VoIP providers use technology with an inferior interface or a platform that is difficult to upgrade or customize. Most VoIP providers require long-term contracts, charge exorbitant cancellation fees and/ lock their phones. Partially or fully outsourced overseas support. Have questions? 11 Timeline After Signup 11 Account Setup (within minutes) – Customers can expect their accounts to be set up within 24 hours (1 business day) – The Essentials order process is mostly automatic. Within 24 hours, telephone numbers (temporary if porting) will be added to the account. After 24 hours, if your customer would like to start service, he/she can call into customer care and have the account activated. Same day activations are not allowed. Phone Orders/Tracking Number (1-2 business days from account creation) – The phone order and its subsequent delivery time will depend on when the account is activated and when the phone order is placed. – Standard shipping is 5-7 business days. As a reminder, customers may select their own shipping speed when accepting the official Vonage quote.

12 Timeline After Signup (continued) 12 Major Accounts – (1-2 business days) from account creation As a new customer, your clients will receive several e-mails upon initial sign up. If the customer is a Major Account holder ($250+/month), they will be managed by the Major Accounts team, which includes the benefit of a scheduled appointment with one of our specialists.”. Number Porting – 2 to 6 weeks. Voice numbers, local and toll ‐ free: 2 ‐ 4 weeks. Fax numbers, local and toll ‐ free: 2 ‐ 6 weeks. The timeline to port a number from start to finish depends on the customer’s timely response to the porting team’s requests for information
