1 Mission American You have arrived. Lights flash, people surround you, you hear mumbles of unclear sounds as you detect a foreign language. Should you go left? Right? Who can help you? Where should you go? You need to find other Americans who can assist you in your mission. How can you describe America to these foreigners?

4 Coca-Cola “What's great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coca-Cola, Liz Taylor drinks Coca-Cola, and just think, you can drink Coca-Cola, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. 10 The Project: You will take an icon of America today. You will create your own drawing of this item. Using the transfer method, you will transfer the exact same image 4 times completing a perfect square composition. In each corner you will demonstrate the use of a different color relationship: analogous, complementary, warm/cool, and monochromatic You will complete a self evaluation and a statement about your piece when it is complete for your grade.
