5.  Stage Coaches Used for both travelers and cargo delivery Travel could get rough and drivers were at times unreliable Usually four horses pulling the stage Like busses, they had certain routes and regular stops

6.  Bicycles Originally European First bicycles only moved in a straight line Many people improved or modified the model Grew hugely popular in the later 1800’s Eventually tandem bikes, tricycles, quadracycles Quick travel over short distances, much more efficient than walking Women had trouble being able to ride them because of their skirts
