2 The Roots of Buddhism - It all starts with Siddhartha Gautama in 563 BC - Born an Indian ___________ to an extremely wealthy family - His mother had a vision of him becoming a wandering holy man - His father and mother protected him and provided him with everything in life in order for this vision to never come true
