4 TASKS Follow the instructions on the task sheet for your research tasks and “How to Use EBSCO” guide Research Tasks : use the research cycle and EBSCO to effectively analyse and carry out searches for your EP003 essay topic Create a “How To Use EBSCO” guide Create a template on a word document for your guide and add points whilst you are carrying out your searches Refine points in guide after you have completed the research tasks

6 Analyse the Essay Topic “Boat people” is a term that usually refers to refugees or asylum seekers who escape in boats that are sometimes old and crudely made, and who seek to illegally enter the country of refuge. From a political, social and humanitarian perspective this issue has caused great controversy in Australia (and other countries of refuge), with many people arguing that these boat people should not be given asylum. Do you agree? Give reasons and supporting evidence for your answers.
