3 Proper Etiquette If you don’t care for coffee, just turn your coffee cup upside down. True False

4 If you must visit the restroom, what should you do? Ask the host for permission to leave. Announce to the table that you have to go to the bathroom and leave. Just leave- don’t say anything. Politely excuse yourself and quietly leave, placing your napkin on the chair seat.

5 I f you don’t care for something that is being served, you should: Send it back and ask for something else. Take a bite to show that you tried it, and then leave the rest. Say ”Yuck - I can’t stand that stuff”. Move it around the plate so it looks like you did something with it.

6 To show appreciation for a meal, you should: Belch and pat your stomach while saying “Mm Mm Mm.” Offer to clear the table. Send a hand-written Thank You note to the host within a day. Offer to host the next shin dig.
