4 Eisenberg/Robinson © 2007 Plan : Beginning What am I supposed to do? What will a “good job” look like? What information do I need? Where will I get my information? What is my plan? I think about my task and how I will complete my project.

5 Eisenberg/Robinson © 2007 Do : Middle I do my work. I get the information I need. I put it all together. I might read, draw pictures, use the computer, or write. I cite my sources.

6 Eisenberg/Robinson © 2007 Review: End Is my job done? Did I do what I was supposed to? Did I cite my sources? Do I feel okay about my work? Do I need to do anything else before I turn it in? I check my work to make sure it is complete.

9 Eisenberg/Robinson © 2007 Plan: Beginning For this project I need to: Pick an animal and get a book from my school library collection about that animal. I will get my information by: I will use my library book and I will go to the World Book online and search for my animal. I need 3 facts from each source for a total of 6 facts. Some facts may be similar. The supplies I need are: Paper, pencil, computer, library book, and PowerPoint software.

11 Eisenberg/Robinson © 2007 Do: Middle My Animal: Hamster My animal eats this: Hamsters eat seeds, kernels, nuts, and fresh vegetables. My animal lives in a place like this: Hamsters live in a cage or box that has enough room for them to run and climb. One interesting fact about my animal is: Hamsters enjoy rolling in sand to keep their fur clean and dry.

12 Eisenberg/Robinson © 2007 Review: End My favorite part of this project was: l liked learning new facts about hamsters. The hardest part of this project was: It was hard to decide what animal to use for my project.
