In these instances, the sales rep will have tapped into what we consider an active need. This is a decision maker who understands they have issues with slippage and/or are not fueling in a cost effective manner. These leads are cycled into the active sales process for the sales rep to manage. Latent Needs Where most other sales systems fail, is that they lose track of the other 90% who push back or are inaccessible to the sales rep. By ranking them, you are better able to focus on those customers that truly bring profit to your business. In our system, each “ranking” has been assigned an interval between recommended contacts. For example, a Platinum customer should be called every 30 days whereas a Bronze customer may only be called once a year. Once customer service rep completes the initial 30 day follow-up, the system will create an action item based on the interval. In the following example I’m looking for customers who have purchased more than 6000 gallons in the last rolling 12 months who have fallen below 25% of their previous months volume (August in our example). When applied, it will return the following: There are many other important analysis that we will teach you should you purchase our system. Bottom line, with this tool being properly utilized, you will have the most effective means of analyzing and defending your customers against attrition. Failure to comply could leave your company exposed to substantial liability for any fraud a customer might incur. If your company has not adopted a qualified Red Flags Rule plan and implemented procedures to support that plan, you are at risk. Our system has built in tools and processes that make your plan substantial and real. For each customer contact in the system you can designate who is a Master Change Agent (someone who can do everything including order new cards), or a Card Change only agent who can only lock out cards or change parameters on cards. Any communication from a client rep that is not flagged as an agent, cannot effect a change. Each contact is further required to have a password (to be verified if the customer service rep does not recognize the individual). Clients, at the time they are set up in the system, must execute a Master Card Change Agreement which is automatically produced by the system with the click of a mouse. The client must sign this agreement and fax it back to be placed on file. Anytime there is a change, a new agreement must be executed. Through this process and by documenting all client card change requests within the system (including verifying current address and phone numbers), you will have created a defense against any client trying to pass their loss due to theft onto you. It’s very important as we seen one situation where $60,000 had to be shouldered by the marketer who was lax in their processes and the client proved that the Red Flags Rules were not implemented.
