4  Home remedy is a treatment to cure or manage a medical ailment or disease.  It could be any natural thing, ranging from herbs, vegetables, plants, etc.  A home remedy may or may not have therapeutic properties to cure the condition.

5  There are scientific evidences that cinnamon and honey are effective in treating various types of cough.  You can consume them directly or mix them with lemon juice.  Take some honey in a bowl and mix cinnamon powder for taste.  Both these ingredients contain anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties that reduce infection.
