2 New Structure President 7 Executive Board Members 1 from each of the 7 chapters President VP of Philanthropy VP of Finance VP of Communications VP of Marketing VP of Event Logistics VP of Scholarship Executive Vice President

3 The Process Fill out an interest form on Life@Babson by Wednesday 4/11 at midnight Chapter Presidents will meet with Greek Council President to form the new Executive Board of GPC

4 President Maintain overall responsibility for the operation of the Greek Council Attend and preside at all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend and preside at all President meetings from 6:00PM – 7:00PM on one Thursday each month Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Review and sign all contracts involving the Greek Council Meet weekly with the Greek Programming Council Advisor May not hold the position of President for any other organization (Chapter, Panhellenic, or IFC) Maintain availability and openness with all members of the E-Board as well as all members of Greek Life Assist and oversee the planning of Greek Week and all Greek sponsored events Work with the EVP and the VP of Communications to maintain the Greek Council Life@Babson page Train the new elect at the end of the academic year Perform all other duties usually pertaining to this office

5 Executive Vice President Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all President meetings from 6:00PM – 7:00PM on one Thursday each month Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Run all meetings in the President’s absence Assist the President in handling the internal workings of the Greek Council Maintain communication with all chapter Presidents and the IFC and Panhellenic Presidents Uphold and maintain the Greek Programming Council Constitution Communicate with the Greek Programming Council Advisor and attend weekly meetings with the Advisor and the President if possible If not possible, attend weekly meetings with the President Work with the President to oversee all aspects of Greek Week Work with the President and VP of Communications to maintain the Greek Programming Council Life@Babson page Attend all required SGA meetings, including SGA Programming Council Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter

6 VP of Philanthropy Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Plan and execute all Greek philanthropy events Find creative ways to integrate philanthropy and community service into existing events Collect cans at Trick or Charity Support individual chapter philanthropic efforts Plan a large all Greek Philanthropy event for Greek Week Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter

7 VP of Event Logistics Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Organize all resources and people necessary to plan seasonal and community strengthening events Such Greek Programming Council run events include the following: Trick or Charity, Mistletoe Monday, Greek Week, etc. Oversee the planning of Greek Week by planning and delegating tasks to other E-Board members Serve as the primary contact to work with the campus partners and departments (including but not limited to: Babson Police Department, Sodexo Services, Scheduling, Media Services, and Babson Facilities) to schedule and plan events Abide to a preset budget and theme, decorate and purchase all materials necessary to complete an event Present Babson with venues for community support and growth by encouraging Campus-Wide participation Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter

8 VP of Scholarship Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Work with the Scholarship chairs of each Greek Organization to constantly improve Greek Life academics Plan at least one Scholarship event per semester Schedule space for Greek study sessions during Finals week in both semesters Run an incentive program for Greek’s grades Recognize the highest achieving members of the Greek Community Plan a Scholarship related event for Greek Week Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter

9 VP of Finance Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Provide Greek Programming Council with a budget for the year Collect dues from each chapter at the beginning of each semester Per the Constitution, dues are $10 per active member (and new member) as provided on chapter rosters in the Student Life Suite Allocate and manage Greek Programming Council funds appropriately Keep accurate records of Greek Programming Council funds Create and maintain a budget request form Maintain copies of SGA reimbursement forms Seek opportunities to request funding from SGA and be in charge of requesting said funding Work with E-board to create a specific budget for Greek Week broken down by each event Attend biweekly meetings with Greek Programming Council Advisor Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter

10 VP of Communications Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all President meetings from 6:00PM – 7:00PM on one Thursday each month Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Receive and gather all reports from officers by Wednesday at 8:00PM Work with the President to create an agenda for each Greek Programming Council E-Board and President meeting Take, type, and distribute minutes of Greek Programming Council E-Board and President meetings Compile and send out “Greekly Weekly” newsletter to the entire Greek Community Prepare and convey documents and correspondences for Greek Programming Council Assist in organizing events, particularly for Greek Week Assist in preparation of the calendar and schedules for Greek Programming Council Work with the President and Executive Vice President to maintain the Greek Programming Council Life@Babson page Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter

11 VP of Marketing Attend all E-board meetings from 5:00PM – 6:00PM each Thursday Attend all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Send weekly report to VP of Communications by Wednesday at 8:00PM Promote and advertise all Greek Programming Council sponsored events Work directly with the other members of the E-board to create and implement marketing campaigns and advertisements related to each event While promoting events, keep in mind the importance of promoting the pillars of the Greek Community and convey these ideas to the student body Manage the PR for Greek Week and particularly help with the t-shirt design and representation of the theme Have flyers to the President within 48 hours after sent the appropriate information Submit events to Life@Babson after receiving the appropriate information and logistics about each event Maintain and update the Greek Programming Council Facebook and Twitter accounts Train the new elect at the end of the semester Perform all other duties as specified by the President Report affiliated chapter’s updates for the weekly newsletter
