9 Guided Nophes The pi nai has 4 reeds Many temple chants are centric melodies, meaning they center around one tone while using other tones to surround it. The majority of Thai music is influenced by China, India and Indonesia Large ensembles like pi phat and mahori are found in central Thailand. The reed mouth organ (Khaen) and vocal music id found in Northeast Thailand.
