2 - Daytime and Low Cost Drama; costs up to £375k per hour, this only applies to long running series for BBC ONE; BBC TWO and BBC THREE. - Lower to Mid cost Drama; These programmes are contemporary and less contained in setting both series and serials will have high production values with known and emerging talent. Low cost period series remain an ambition for this Category. This will cost around £500k - £630k per hour. - High cost Drama; This includes high levels of cast; stunts; foreign locations and period settings all drive this category. Cast will be large and talent established. It ranges from £700k - £790k per hour, an example of this could be Spooks.

3 - Children's programmes; Factual - Non-Studio / Factual Entertainment - Observational documentary using lower cost filming techniques e.g. DV-DV Cam. Price dependent on subject and location. Also documentary based, entertainment programmes. Examples of this type of programme are: The Agents, The Stables. This type of programming cost around £100k - £135k per hour. - Children's programmes; CBeebies - These are mainly studio based programmes built around a distinct and recognisable reoccurring format - may include animation segments. Examples of this type of programme include Big Cook Little Cook and Me Too! This would cost around £40k - £90k per hour. - Factual – Studio; This is mainly Studio- based programming based on an, entertaining format, usually presenter led. An examples of this type of programme is: Eureka. This costs around £75k - £120k perhour.

4 - Factual & Lifestyle; Documentaries using a high proportion of contemporary, historical or performance archive footage may be found in this category. On network this costs around £40k - £80k, and on nations & regions it costs around £5k - £60k. - Performance Indicative tariff ranges; This includes Performance e.g. Music, Ballet, Opera, Theatre. On network costs around £40k - £350k and for nations and regions around £40k - £150k. - Daytime & other low cost Factual

5 - Scripted Comedy Indicative tariff ranges; Comedy, this type of genre showing on network, costs around £110k - £340k, and for nations & regions. - Entertainment Indicative tariff ranges; To date, daytime quizzes make up the bulk of this category, along with some studio based programming e.g. Countdown. These sort of programmes cost around £20k - £30k for network and the same for nations & regions.
