4 TRADITIONS OF THE NAVAJO  They had very many traditions of planting crops.  Also they used sand paintings to heal people of the tribe. They used black,white,yellow,blue as a tradition of the tribe.

5 WHAT THEY ATE The Navajo Indians raised crops of a variety of many fruits and veggies. they had corn, beans, squash, pumpkins, carrots, and herbs. Navajo men also hunted buffalo, deer, antelope, and mutton. Also women of the tribe were the ones that gathered all their fruits veggies and herbs. Later, they raised domestic goats and domestic sheep and made meat and clothes with them.

6 Where did they live? They lived in four places. They lived In Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. So basicly very hot places. They probably wanted to live somewhere better like Washington or Kansas. But they probably needed to live here for the water. If they moved they would have to Bring baskets of Water while they Traveled across the World.

7 WHAT DID THEY WEAR? The Navajo Indians wore a lot of things. They wore sheep and goat fur. Men wore breech cloths and poncho type shirts. Women wore skirts made of yucca fiber and poncho type shirts too. They did not wear the traditional Indian Headdress. Nor face paint.

9 WHAT WERE THE TRIBE CONTRIBUTIONS? They used sand paintings to heal sick people. They helped us in WW2 with their code talking. They helped everyone they saw that was in danger.

10 How many people are there in the tribe? It was the biggest tribe in the Utah area. The Navajo Indians had about 300,000 people. The exact was 300,048 people.
