1. Open this file after unzip

2. Just go through all the installation steps

3. You will find the Goldwave here after installation

4. Choose new

5. These are for choosing the recording quality. Number of channel should be 1. sample rate 44100 is good enough Then go for the length, for an hour. Key in “60:00:00”then OK

6. Go for option then “control properties…”

7. In “Device”, The record device should be your sound card, you don’t have to do anything here

8. Check the back of your PC, see the hole next to the one links to the speaker. Plug in the audio cord from your recorder

9. Then start recording using red circle

10. If recording is successful, you should see some sound wave, remember to save the file

11. Go for mp3 for saving file type, the file would be smaller, if no mp3 then wave

12. If it asks for registration, use keygen.exe, copy the user ID and password and paste them to the goldwave ( There should be a “register” button under “Options” (slide 6)
