3 Insert and delete comments You can insert a comment inside balloons that appear in the document margins. You can also hide comments from view. If you don't want comments to appear in your document during a review, you must clear your document of comments by deleting them. Comments make our life easier when we want to notice something or to review a document Panayiotis Christodoulou

7 Where the insertion point is when we click the New comment button a ballon appears on the documents margins to add our comment When can also select a paragraph or a whole line and add a comment there The comment becomes red in the document Panayiotis Christodoulou

9 Next and Previous buttons on the Comments Group helps us move from comment to comment easily. When a comment is selected we can delete it by clicking the Delete button or we can click on the Delete all comments in the document button and all comments will be removed Panayiotis Christodoulou

10 Accept and reject changes To accept and reject changes we must first enable the Track Changes feature To do this we must go to the Review tab  Tracking group  Track Changes Panayiotis Christodoulou

11 Every time you make a change (delete words or add new words ) in the document: ▫ A vertical line appears in front of the line where a change was made ▫Delete words become red with a horizontal line in middle ▫Newly added words appear with red color Panayiotis Christodoulou

13 Other users who will view the document will have to accept and reject the changes made You can accept or reject each change one by one or all together Panayiotis Christodoulou

20 Embed and modify an Excel worksheet Create a blank new document Open Excel program and insert the following data Panayiotis Christodoulou

21 To insert data from Excel to Word ▫Copy the data from Excel, go to Word and paste the data Panayiotis Christodoulou

22 By selecting Link & Keep source formatting and link to Excel every time you make changes to the Excel file then changes are also made in the Word document Panayiotis Christodoulou

23 ▫The other way to embed data from Excel to word is go to the Insert tab in Word and then click Object Panayiotis Christodoulou

28 Insert and edit hyperlinks Create a new blank document To add a hyperlink right click on a word and then choose Hyperlink Panayiotis Christodoulou

30 When you add a hyperlink the word becomes underlined with blue color and when you hover your mouse over it you see the website that links to Panayiotis Christodoulou

31 To insert a hyperlink that links to a place in this document first you must create a new page, add a title and make the title with Heading 1 Panayiotis Christodoulou

32 To insert a hyperlink that links to a new document you create a new document while adding the path of it Panayiotis Christodoulou
