1. Ventilation-BREATHING: Moving air in and out of the lungs
Gas Exchange-Occurs between the air and blood in the lungs
AND the blood and other tissues in the body
Oxygen utilization-Oxygen used by the tissue in the lungs causes
reactions of cells (distribution) during respiration
