●He refuses to do everything his parents ask him to do. ●He is rude to them. ●He refuses to spend time with them. ●sometimes he acts as though he doesn’t love his parents at all. ●He refuses to do his homework and wastes time watching DVDs and listening to foreign music. ● He spends too much time in Internet cafes playing games and surfing the internet.

(如果我是你,我会…) ● I advice you (not) to ... ● I suggest/advice that you (should) (not) … ● It would be better if you … ● … Advice to the son ●have a heart-to-heart talk with your parents. ● tell them you love them but you also need their respect. ● learn to keep calm and act like an adult. ● accept your father’s requirements when they are right. ● learn to think from your father’s angle(角度). Examples: If I were you I would tell them I love them but I also need their respect. Why not learn to think from your father’s angle?
