Before we read (and write down!) the definitions, I want to hear what you think these words mean. Extroversion Agreeableness Conscientiousness Emotional Stability Openness

4 Extroversion Extroverted people are assertive and outgoing
Talkative and display energetic behavior Enjoy human interactions Enjoy activities such as parties, community activities, public demonstrations, and political groups People who are less extroverted enjoy time alone

5 Agreeableness Agreeable people tend to be honest and trustworthy
Also described as kind, sympathetic and cooperative They tend to be less argumentative Those who are less agreeable tend to be more competitive than cooperative.

6 Conscientiousness These people tend to be thorough, careful and have a desire to do a good job on any task Very disciplined and are able to initiate tasks on their own Less conscientious people aren’t necessarily lazy, but they are more laid back

7 Emotional Stability Exactly what it sounds like. Higher scores in this trait mean people tend to be more emotionally stable Calm, even-tempered and more relaxed on a day to day basis People low in this trait tend to be more anxious and moody than others

8 Openness to Experience
Tend to have an active imagination preference for variety, and intellectual curiosity More likely to try new activities and new foods They like to venture outside of their comfort zone Those who score lower on this trait are less likely to enjoy new activities and like to stick to their routine.
