July 2005 Applications can be categorised depending on the type of premises or the use, as either: House - (domestic) The Regulations do not define “Domestic”. Generally domestic means used in a house. The term house includes flat and bungalow. “House Garden” includes recreational area. Non-house - (commercial) The Regulations do not define “Commercial”. Generally commercial means not used in a house environment. Non-house situations include offices, factories and schools Agricultural and horticultural applications are considered non-house. copyright

What is a Tap Box? Wall Mounted, Lockable, Frost Resistant July 2005 HUTB is rear entry, with copper tube passing through the wall, providing additional frost protection HUTBS is surface entry enabling “daisy-chaining” HUTBT is top entry with supply pipe surface run above Tap Box The tap box is tamperproof by means of a hinged lid, which can be padlocked shut. Foam insulation around the valve provides an element of frost resistance. copyright
